OHP spectroscopy workshop
Each year, Association Aude and Shelyak Instruments organize the Spectro Star Party at the Observatoire de Haute Provence, in St Michel l’Observatoire, near Manosque in southern France.

as far as I can tell this was a sporadic meteor, as most of the others I caught during the week at OHP (without useful spectra).

I was at OHP 2016.
I have an e mail alert from Dr John Mason at the BAA re the Perseids, so I will be watching next weekend.
